4/20/2026 - The JCM team opened up the 2026 race season this weekend with a 305 Sprint Car event at Dodge City Raceway Park, followed by a quick turnaround and the opener of kart racing outdoor season at Lil 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas!
With more than 20 305's on hand at DCRP, the future of the newly restructured URSS Sprint Series is looking bright! Campbell started 4th in his heat, finishing second and securing a spot on the front row of the feature event, before an unfortunate redraw put him back to 6th. With the strong duo of Ty Williams and Zach Blurton on the front row, it was important to get a strong start, and Campbell delivered, making it up to 3rd by the second lap. Lap traffic came into play quickly, and Campbell fell to 4th at the end of 25 chaotic laps!
"The new car felt great, and I can't thank Ojar enough for giving me excellent equipment every race. I know we will continue to get stronger from here," said Campbell.
Sunday Jaxten and Jeremy were back in action for kart racing at Lil 81, with Jaxten once again behind the wheel of a ROK Outlaw Kart and racing in the Junior 2 Flat group, along with Jeremy in the stock 212s. Jaxten would take home two 2nd place finishes while Jeremy finished 3rd.
Up next, more weekly action for the team at Lil 81, before the 360 season opener May 2nd at Dodge City Raceway Park! Stayed tuned for all the racing action!
